Instead of building a project from scratch, you can copy an existing project together with its structure – trays, fields and settings. This is ideal for safely testing changes or reusing recurring projects as a template.
1. Choose “Duplicate existing projects”
Open the “Create new project” dialog via the + in the left bar. Under “Other Templates”, choose the “Duplicate existing projects” tile.
2. Select a project and duplicate it
In the “Duplicate project” dialog, use the selector to choose the project you want to copy. Then click “Duplicate”. Aktenplatz creates a copy with all trays, fields and settings of the source project.
The duplicated project appears immediately in your project list in the left bar and is ready to use.
