Aktenplatz includes complete file management and built-in viewers/editors for PDF, Office, images and more – including OCR, signing and an assistant for automatic document assignment.
File management
- Upload – single, batch or whole folders by drag & drop, with progress.
- Organise folders & files – create, rename (incl. bulk rename), move, duplicate.
- Trash – move files to trash, restore or delete permanently.
- Download – single file or whole selection as ZIP.
- Versions – upload a new version, view the version list and restore.
- Status, tags & deadlines – set file status, coloured tags and periods.

PDF editor
- Annotate – text, freehand pen, move/rotate objects, delete pages, zoom, undo/redo.
- Stamps – predefined and custom stamps (e.g. approved, checked) with auto-filled fields.
- OCR & text search – generate text recognition, export text and search in the PDF.
- Linked comments – numbered comment markers with a side panel.
- Task from a PDF area – draw a rectangle and create a task from it.
- Split view & signing – edit two PDFs side by side, sign via DocuSign.
