After signing in you land on your start dashboard – your personal overview in Aktenplatz. You build it from widgets, and your layout is saved per user (the same on every device).

The Aktenplatz start dashboard with widgets and the “Add widget” button

Available widgets

  • Your tasks – open and due tasks at a glance.
  • Continue – recently opened cases and documents.
  • Software news – the latest app updates (the changelog right on your dashboard).
  • Statistics – key figures on your case files and tasks.

Customise the dashboard

  • Add widget: click Add widget at the top right and pick the widget you want.
  • Arrange: drag a widget by its handle (top-left icon of the widget) to reposition it.
  • Remove: hover a widget and click the × to hide it.
  • Reset: use Reset to restore the default arrangement.

Your arrangement is saved to your profile automatically – it looks the same the next time you sign in.

The “Changes to shared content” widget

Use Add widget to put the Changes to shared content widget on your dashboard. It shows what happened to the content you shared out – whole cases as well as individual folders.

Each entry tells you which file was affected, what happened to it (created, renamed, moved, deleted, restored), when it happened and through which route – for example the customer portal or the web interface. The filters in the widget header narrow it down to individual shares, split into cases and folders; your selection is remembered.

The widget only ever shows shares from your own projects – no project selection is needed.

Grouped view in the sharing widget

The Changes to shared content widget can be switched to a grouped view: instead of one long list of individual events you see how many changes there were per case, and expand the details when you need them.

On top of that come a search and paging through longer lists (the display always states which slice you are looking at). When a new version of a file was uploaded, it says so explicitly with “New version uploaded”.
