Documents support two time-related details: a time-period column (e.g. for tax years) and the Valuta value date.

Enable the time-period column

Open the project settings under Tags (tag settings). Enable Enable the time-period column for documents and set the display.

  • Display: Years, Months or Years and months.
  • Years back and Years ahead – how many years are available to choose from.

A preview shows how many period options this produces. In the file view, multiple periods can be assigned per file.

Valuta (value date)

For date fields with Valuta enabled, you additionally record a Valuta date per file in the file details – useful when the accounting value date differs from the document date.
