In the table view, Aktenplatz shows your files with their fields as columns. If you don't need certain columns right now, you can hide them to keep the table tidy. Your selection is saved for your account.

1. Switch to the table view

Open your project and switch to the table using the icons in the top bar. There, click the columns icon to the left of the filter funnel.

2. Hide or show a column

The “Select Columns to Hide” window opens, listing all available columns. Each column has an eye icon:

  • An open eye means the column is visible.
  • A crossed-out, grey eye means the column is hidden.

Click a column's eye icon to hide it or show it again. The table updates immediately.

To close the window, click the columns icon again. Your setting is kept.
